I'm off to Utah today!!! Several months back I wrote about the exciting news that I have the wonderful opportunity to be a counselor for H.E.F.Y. which stands for "Humanitarian Experience for Youth."
I will be traveling to Bolivia this summer with about 25 youth. We will build a school and grow in our spirituality as we learn to love one another on a deeper level. :-) This weekend is my training!!

ReplyDeleteHi Cristee!! I would have LOVED to have met you while I was in Utah!! You are right… they packed our training schedule from 7am- 11pm, so I didn't have hardly any free time. I was worried about the weather- especially coming from hot and sunny Florida. :-) We spent our training at a ski resort. It snowed almost the entire time…. but I loved it. It was really peaceful to watch the snow fall, and my thinned-out, Florida blood didn't feel too cold. :-)

ReplyDeleteThank you so much!! It was an AWESOME weekend. It felt GREAT to be surrounded with so many positive people with such similar goals and outlooks on life. I felt so much love. I'm excited to pass that energy on to the youth on my Bolivia trip!!!
